| What to wear |
In Wallis and Futuna due to the tropical climate light clothing such as shorts, tee shirts and sandals are recommended. Being in the tropics, it is always advisable to have a rain coat handy. A jacket or jumper may be required at night when the temperature drops. |

International visitors to Wallis and Futuna are required to be in possession of a valid passport and may require a visa depending on country of origin. Visas are available from French Embassies and Consulates around the world. |
| Health |
There are 2 public hospitals and 3 public dispensaries in Wallis and Futuna. Medical care and medicine are free. Please note however that there is no private medicine and no opticians, so remember to take extra pairs of glasses and/or contact lenses. There are no compulsory vaccination required here, but, it is advisable to be vaccinated against Hepatitis B. |
