| What to wear |
In Fiji due to the tropical climate light clothing such as shorts, tee shirts and sandals are recommended. Being in the tropics, it is always advisable to have a rain coat handy. A jacket or jumper may be required at night when the temperature drops. |

International visitors to Fiji are required to be in possession of a valid passport and in many cases a visa depending upon which country you are a national. Check here to see if you are required to obtain a visa prior to entering the country. |
| Health |
International visitors to the Fiji are advised to have vaccinations before travelling to this area. Check with your local doctor or view the CDC web site for further information. Medical services are available at private medical centres and government hospitals. Travellers are advised that the quality of care is much better at the private medical centres. Medical travel insurance is recommended. |
