| What to wear |
Casual dress is the norm in Australia, although suits and sports coats are common among the business community. Most restaurants, clubs and pubs are happy to allow patrons in neat casual wear, although enclosed shoes are required in most establishments. Due to the mild climate it is most advisable to wear easily removed layers of lighter clothing, topped with a light windproof jacket which is easily removed. Some of the top class restaurants may require a suit or sports jacket with a collared shirt. |
