What to wear

In Pago Pago due to the tropical nature of the island light clothing such as shorts, tee shirts and sandals are recommended. Being in the tropics, it is always advisable to have a rain coat handy. Be warned, the natives of American Samoa are extremely modest so be sure to wear suitable clothing especially when swimming. (bikinis are frowned upon)
