Libreville is the capital city of Gabon. It is situated on the north shore of the Gabon Estuary in the Gulf of Guinea and has a population of around 400,000. It has a large port which exports lumber, cocoa, rubber, and palm products. Libreville's industries include sawmills, plywood and cloth-printing factories, and brewing, milling of flour, and shipbuilding. |
